The petitioner's candidature in the selection process of Computer Instructor conducted by the Directorate of Employment and Training was rejected on the ground, that she cannot be treated as a priority candidate, since she had not registered herself as a dependent of the Ex-servicemen before the crucial date (i.e.,) 20.10.2014. Admittedly, the notification calling https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for applications for appointment was issued on 20.10.2014, which is the crucial date. If at all the petitioner claims priority under any category, the same should have been registered on or before 20.10.2014. Since the petitioner admits that she had registered herself as a dependent of the Ex-servicemen only on 06.11.2014, the action of the respondent in rejecting of her candidature cannot be found fault with and hence there are no merits in this case.
