ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to correct the alleged wrong entry in the Patta No.1820 as well as in the FMB Sketch pertaining to the property more fully described in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition.

The petitioner claims that he is the absolute owner of the subject property. According to him, certain errors have crept into Patta No.1820 issued in his favour and also in the FMB sketch for the said property. The petitioner seeks for rectification of the same. In this regard, the petitioner had submitted a representation on 13.02.2026. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 3.

Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation seeking for correction of alleged wrong entries in Patta and FMB sketch for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, is

considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation, dated13.02.2026, seeking for correction of the alleged wrong entries in Patta and FMB sketch, in respect of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, with regard to the property's extent, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
