Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to bring the first petitioner's daughter Ms.Janani Shanthakumar (Passport No.S 4985578) and the second petitioner's daughter Ms.Iswarya Mahendran (Passport No.R 8942745) to Chennai under 'Vande Bharat' mission from Ukraine in the flight schedule on 10.07.2020 or any other earlier or nearest date, or permit them to travel by private chartered flights to be arranged or permitted by the respondents, based on their registration dt.15.05.2020 as prescribed, by giving

priority as per the Standard Operating Protocol (SOP) issued by the first respondent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.

2. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. The learned counsel for the petitioner is also directed to send an e-mail to this effect to the Registry. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
