W.M.P.No.11707 of 2019 in W.P.No.4378 of 2019 PUSHPA SATHYANARAYANA, J.

This petition is filed seeking to modify the order dated 07.03.2019 in W.P.No.4378 of 2019 inasmuch as it imposes payment of cost of Rs.25,000/- into nominal costs to be paid by the petitioner-Association.

2. In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it is stated that only due to inadvertence, the previous Writ Petition and Writ Appeal filed were omitted to be mentioned and it was never intentional.

3. The reason stated is not convincing, as the petitioner being an Association of Teachers, is expected to know what they are doing. However, considering the fact that the Association is that of teachers, this Court is inclined to reduce the costs of Rs.25,000/- to Rs.10,000/-.

4. Accordingly, the petitionerAssociation is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- as costs by way of Demand Draft in favour of M/s.Vishranthi Home for Aged Destitute, Anthony Church, 20th Building, MGR Salai, Near Seashore Street, Palavakkam, Chennai 600 041, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
