ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to cancel the patta standing in the name of one Chakkarapani for the properties morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 27.05.2024.

2. The petitioner had filed supporting documents along with his representation dated 27.05.2024 with the 2nd respondent seeking for cancellation of patta for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition now standing in the name of Chakkarapani. Since the representation of the petitioner was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with,

after hearing the objections of Mr.Chakkarapani and any other party, whom the 2nd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation, dated 27.05.2024 seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the Mr.Chakkarapani for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections, if any, from Mr.Chakkarapani and any other party, whom the 2nd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
