Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to grant permission and protection to Petitioners for their proposed 'awareness conference for the Tribal people', near the Sivanandha Colony, No.5.Bus Stop in Coimbatore city, where usually large number of public meetings and conferences are conducted based on the Representation made by the petitioner Association herein.

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the Respondents to grant permission and protection to Petitioners for their proposed 'awareness https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
conference for the Tribal people', near the Sivanandha Colony, No.5.Bus Stop in Coimbatore city, where usually large number of public meetings and conferences are conducted based on the Representation made by the petitioner Association. 2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner made a submission that the petitioner's society had submitted a fresh application to the respondents for the purpose of conducting the awareness campaign by the Tribunal Association. The said representation was submitted to the respondents on 07.05.2018 and the same is yet to be considered. 3.Thus, the 2nd respondent/Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore City, is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 07.05.2018 and pass orders on merits on or before 15th May 2018. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose the copy of the representation along with the order passed in this writ petition.
