ORDER

The Civil Revision Petition is filed against the fair and decretal order dated 06.06.2015 made in R.C.A.No.9 of 2014 on the file of the Rent Control Appellate Authority (Principal Sub Court), Erode modifying the fair and decretal order dated 11.03.2014 in R.C.O.P.No.21 of 2007 on the file of the Rent Controller (Principal District Munsif Court), Erode.

2. When the Civil Revision Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/landlord and respondent/tenant have filed a joint memo of compromise and submitted that the matter has been settled and the parties have agreed to fix the fair rent at Rs.55,000/-. The respondent/tenant agreed to pay the difference amount of Rs.28,95,000/- by demand draft within a period of three months.

3. After filing of joint memo of compromise, the learned counsel for the respondent/tenant sought for five months time to pay the difference amount of Rs.28,95,000/-. The learned counsel for the petitioner/landlord has no objection for the same. Both the learned counsel for the petitioner and respondent made an

endorsement in the joint memo of compromise. The joint memo of compromise and the endorsement made therein are recorded. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of fixing the fair rent at Rs.55,000/- per month. The respondent is granted five months time to pay the difference amount of Rs.28,95,000/-. The joint memo of compromise as well as endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and respondent in the joint memo of compromise shall form part of this order. No costs.
