ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to dispose the petitioner's appeal dated 12.04.2021 in the light of the proceedings of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.40899/ED1/95 dated 12.12.1995 and Na.Ka.No.A5939/ED1/2001 dated 15.11.2001.
2. Heard Mr.P.Gurunathan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. The petitioner has been appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher on 20.12.1989. The third respondent published a panel for promotion to the post of elementary School Head Master and in the said list, the petitioner was placed in Serial No.10 instead of Serial No.1. Having found that the petitioner has been wrongly placed in the panel list, she raised objection to the third respondent vide letter dated 22.02.2021 through the Head Master, Panchayat Union Elementary School, KoPage No.2 of 5
Adhanur and the same was forwarded to the second respondent by the third respondent. The second respondent without following the rules and instructions, rejected the petitioner's objection vide order dated 23.03.2021 on the ground that the petitioner has given the application of revision of seniority after expiry of three years. Against the order of rejection, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the first respondent on 12.04.2021. Since no order has been passed in the said appeal, the petitioner is before this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the appeal will be disposed within a time as may be fixed by this Court.
5. In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition is disposed and the first respondent is directed to dispose the appeal within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. 25.03.2024 Index : Yes /No Internet : Yes/No Speaking / Non-speaking Page No.3 of 5
