This petition is filed to condone the delay of 306 days in filing the above C.M.A against M.C.O.P.No.979 of 2016 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Principal Subordinate Court, Kancheepuram.

2.Mr.C.R.Sureshkumar, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent.

3.Heard. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

4.It is underscored that in the eventuality of the appellant succeeding in the appeal to be taken on record, he would not be entitled to any interest for 306 days.

5.The Registry is directed to number the above C.M.A.SR.No.44992 of 2023, if the papers are otherwise in order.
