Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the claims of the petitioner and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 20.4.2015 in regard to regularisation of service in the post of Instructor (Computer) in the light of the similarly placed persons order of the High Court dated 16.8.2010 in W.P.No.19462 of 2009 and was complied in G.O.(Ms) No.112, Tourism and Culture (Cul 1-1) Department, dated 03.08.2011.

Mrs.M.E.Raniselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

3.The petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 20.4.2015 with regard to regularisation of service in the post of Instructor (Computer) in the light of the similarly placed persons' order of the High Court dated 16.8.2010 in W.P.No.19462 of 2009 and was complied in G.O. (Ms) No.112, Tourism and Culture (Cul 1-1) Department, dated 03.08.2011.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that if the representation of the petitioner dated 20.4.2015 for regularisation of his service is disposed of by the first respondent within a stipulated period, the petitioner will be satisfied.
4. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner joined the service along with one A.Parimala by a common appointment order dated 17.6.2005. The said Parimala was appointed as Instructor in Traditional Drawing and Painting and the petitioner was appointed in the Computer Section. The said Parimala was regularised pursuant to G.O.(Ms).No.112, Tourism and Culture (Cul 1-1) Department, dated 3.8.2011 based on the order of this Court dated 16.8.2010 in W.P.No.19462 of 2010. The learned counsel for the petitioner prays for disposal of the petitioner's representation by the first respondent in the light of the aforesaid facts.

In view of the narrow prayer made, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 20.4.2015 in the light of the aforesaid facts within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. The connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
