ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. The petitioners seek for an early disposal of their arbitration appeal pertaining to the land acquisition proceedings initiated under the provisions of National Highways Act.
2. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. No prejudice would be caused to the 1st respondent, if a direction is issued to dispose of the arbitration appeal, on merits and in accordance with law and by adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expresssing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' arbitration appeal.

4. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioners' arbitration appeal, dated 23.05.2023, pertaining to the enhancement of compensation sought by the petitioners under the National Highways Act, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by adhering to the principles of natural justice. No costs.
