O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2021 within the time prescribed by this Court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, he is in possession and enjoyment of the land in Survey No. 31/1, 31/2 and 31/3 situated at Blichi (East-West) Revenue Village and he https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

is doing cultivation for a long time. Subsequently, he came to know in the year 1999, the land was assigned to one Nagaraj and Subramani. Immediately, he has made an application to the 1st and 2nd respondents to cancel the order and to grant patta in his favour. So far, that application was not considered and no order has been passed. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mrs.R.Janaki, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents would submit that, now the application is pending with the 2nd respondent District Revenue Officer, and he would conduct enquiry and pass suitable orders.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought in the present Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner and pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as the assignees within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
