Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to take appropriate steps or action based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 16.03.2020 by granting adequate and effective police protection to ensure free egress and ingress of the vehicles, materials or goods of the petitioner and the willing workers to and from the petitioner's factory premises at No.134, Govindamedu Village, Kilachery post, Thiruvallur District - 631 402. O R D E R

Writ petition has been filed seeking for police protection based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner to ensure free egress and ingress of the vehicles, and materials, goods of the petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner had been incorrect and the 1st respondent had registered a case in Crime No.114 of 2020 for the offence under Section 147, 341, 283, 506(i) of IPC and 501 read with Section 3 of PPDL Act as against Deva and others. After registering FIR they are taking appropriate action as against the accused persons to secure them.

3. Considering the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, and recorded the said submission, this writ petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the fresh cause of action of fresh complaint. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
