ORDER

Seeking a direction to the first respondent herein to withdraw the case in Crime No.1003/2014 on the file of the fourth respondent and transfer the same to the 5th respondent and investigate the case in accordance with law, the petitioners have come up with this petition.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents that the investigation is being taken in a right direction and within a short span of time final report would be filed by the fourth respondent. The said statement is recorded.

3.In view of the above, this Court is of the view that the transfer as sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted. Further, this is a fit case to issue direction to the fourth respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.1033/2014 and take action further in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Assistant Commissioner of Police, Selayur Police Station shall personally monitor the investigation.

4.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
