ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to de-freeze the petitioner's Bank Account vide No.340405001889 with the 2nd respondent Bank forthwith.
2.The learned Government Counsel, appearing for the 1st respondent, submitted that the 2nd respondent-Bank had freezed the Bank account of the petitioner bearing A/c.No.340405001889 with regard to certain suspicious transactions done by the petitioner and a complaint is being lodged against the petitioner for the same. He further submitted that the complaint has been taken on file in CSR.No.1532/CCB/COP/5/2025 and the enquiry is under progress. Since it is found that there are more than 20 illegal transactions in the said Bank account and also since it is an online scam, which requires further time for investigation, the learned Government Counsel submitted that the petitioner's
Bank account cannot be de-freezed. Hence, he sought for dismissal of the present writ petition.
3.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Counsel, this Court is of the view that since the enquiry is pending on the file of the 1st respondent, the request made by the petitioner to de-freeze his account cannot be considered at this point of time. Hence, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
