ORDER

The writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No. 80/2016 on the file of the 3rd respondent to an independent investigation agency namely CBCID, Dumas Street, Puducherry.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Pondy) that the enquriy has been conducted by the respondent police on the crime No. 80/2016 and filed a report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Puducherry in F.A. No. 57 of 2017 on 06.11.2017.

4. However, on considering the fact that the case of the petitioner is pending from the year 2017, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Puducherry is directed to complete the process within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
