Mr.K.Tippu sultann, Government Advocate for R1 Mr.M.Sivavarthanan for R2 Order The writ petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents 3 and 4 to consider petitioner representation dated 24.02.2026 and return all petitioner original educational certificates without insisting upon payment of the entire course fee.

2. Case of the petitioner is that she was allotted a BDS (Management Quota) seat in Ragas Dental College and Hospital, Uthandi, Chennai. The petitioner joined the course, but she was unable to continue the course and therefore, discontinued the same at the earliest possible stage. The petitioner also informed 4th respondent about the discontinuation vide letter dated 22.01.2026, however, the 4th respondent refused to receive the said letter and informed that the same would be accepted only if it was accompanied by a Demand Draft towards the fees payable for the entire course period and retained the original educational certificates, submitted at the time of admission, which prevents the petitioner from pursuing further education. Hence, the petitioner made representation dated 24.02.2026, to the respondents requesting to return the same. Since the said representation was not considered till date, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 24.02.2026 on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

6. In view of the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.02.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
