The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.274 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner herein is an absconding accused in connection with 1.05 kg of OG kanja imported from Thailand. While other two accused arrested and are still in prison, this petitioner is absconding.

3. Considering the gravity of the offence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
