Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1-3 (one to three) to pass necessary orders to reclassify the land zone owned and enjoyed bytheir family since 1981, from Industrial Zone into Commercial cum Residential Zone, measuring about Acres 2.05 cents being part of the larger extent of land H-3.A-05.C-30 comprised in T.S.No.A/8/16/4 and A/8/14/2, situate in Industrial Zone, Mettacur, Yanam.

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to pass necessary orders to reclassify the land zone owned and enjoyed by his family since 1981, from Industrial Zone into Commercial cum Residential Zone, measuring about Acres 2.05 cents being part of the larger extent of land H-3.A-05.C-30 comprised in T.S.No.A/8/16/4 and A/8/14/2, situate in Industrial Zone, Mettacur, Yanam.

2. It is seen that the petitioner seeks for reclassification of the lands referred to in the writ petition. The petitioner has already made a representation on 22.12.2017 before the first respondent. Since it is stated that the said representation is still pending, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the said representation and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
