ORDER

Transfer Petition filed praying to withdraw D.V.C.No.32 of 2024 from the file of learned Additional Mahila Court (Magisterial Level), Thanjavur and transfer the same to the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court-I, Tambaram.

2. It is submitted that, after the demise of her father, the petitioner shifted to Chennai, where she is employed at TCS and is residing with her two year old child. Therefore, she is unable to attend the Court proceedings at Tanjavur.

3. The First respondent/husband is residing at Kumbakonam. It is further submitted that the petitioner had initiated DVC No.32 of 2024 against her husband and mother-in-law, both of whom are residing at Kumbakonam. However, according to the petitioner, she is presently residing in Chennai with her two year old daughter and is employed at TCS.

4. The petitioner also contended that the first respondent/husband had borrowed a loan without her knowledge and that she is presently repaying the said loan amount. Therefore, she is facing hardship at the hands of the first

respondent.

5. Considering the facts and circumstnaces of the case, the reasons stated by the petitioner justify the transfer of the matter to the file of the Judicial Magistrate-I, Tambaram. Since the second respondent is a senior citizen, her personal appearance is dispensed with. The first respondent is directed to appear before the Judicial Magistrate-I Tambaram.

6. With the above observations, this Transfer Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 15-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order MPA Note: issue order copy today i.e., 15.06.2026. To
