Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to grant admission to the petitioner in MBBS course in Government Medical College/ Government Quota in Private Medical College under State Quota under Most backward Class (MBC) category based on merit in selection following the marks secured in National Entrance cum Eligibility Test NEET (UG) 2017-2018 forthwith. O R D E R

The petitioner was allotted with B.D.S. course in Ramachandra Dental College and Hospital, a Deemed University and he has also joined the said Course on 19.08.2017. Thereafter, the petitioner wants the respondents to consider her for admission to the MBBS Course in Government Medical College/Government Quota in Private Medical College under the State Quota.

2. Heard Mr.G.Sankaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 4th respondent.

3. I do not think that the petitioner is entitled to succeed in view of the order passed by the Honourable Supreme Court in Dar-Us-Slam Educational Trust case dated 09.05.2017 wherein it is categorically ordered that the students who secured admission in Deemed Universities shall not be eligible to participate in any other counselling. Hence, I do not find any merit in this writ petition as it has to fail in view of the above said order passed by the Honourable Supreme Court. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
