Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider, within a time frame work, the petitioner's representation dated 02.02.2017 seeking patta in his name with respect to properties at Nedumaram Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram District bearing Survey Nos.296/10, 118/1C, 411/7, 411/6 admeasuring to extents of 50 cents, 24 cents, 2 cents and 18 cents respectively.
3.The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation seeking for patta in his name has not been considered by the respondent so far. This Court, at this stage, does not express any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.02.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
