ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested on 09.02.2022 for the offence under sections 302 and 201 of IPC , in Crime No.33 of 2022, seeks bail.

2. The petitioner herein was arrested on 09.02.2022 in connection with the murder of one Ajith Kumar. Due to the land dispute, the deceased head was severed and kept in a temple premises and the body was thrown 1 1/2 kilometers away.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent police states that the deceased and the petitioner are relatives. Due to previous enmity regarding the land, the enmity was persisting between them. She states that the investigation is yet to be completed and opposed granting of bail.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is in prison for nearly 80 days and seeks bail. However considering the proximity between the defacto complainant and the petitioner, the release of the petitioner may endanger the life of the defacto complainant, who has already lost her son.
