This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police, the Inspector of Police, Kurinjipadi police station to register the petitioner's complaint dated 07.07.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. On a reading of the complaint, it is seen that the mother of the petitioner executed a document on 05.02.2013 and now, the petitioner is alleging that the document has been obtained by fraud. In case of this nature, only a civil suit will lie. Hence, no positive direction can be given to the respondent police to register the case and the petition is closed with liberty given to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
