ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant police protection to install CCTV Camera for peaceful possession of the property.

2.The petitioner had purchased a property located at old No.191, New Sub Division S.No.191/4, Karapakkam Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District measuring to an extent of 61 cents bearing Patta No.1244 from the legal heirs of late Mr. Mariadoss. There seems to be some dispute with regard to this property between the family members of Mariadoss. upon by unknown thugs and they are using the property for consuming alcohol and other illegal activities, thereby, the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property was affected. Hence, he wants to install CCTV Camera for better monitoring of the property from being encroached. It is found that the petitioner sent a representation dated 10.04.2021 to the J-8, Neelankarai Police Station, Chennai. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the Government of Tamil Nadu submitted that the family members of Mr.Mariadoss had lodged a complaint against the petitioner. It seems there is some dispute over the property. Further, he submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the property, however the cause of action falls under J-11, Kannagi Nagar Police Station. 4.The petitioner is therefore directed to lodge a fresh complaint before the J-11, Kannagi Nagar Police Station. If any such complaint is submitted, an enquiry shall be conducted and to dispose the same according to law.

5.With the above observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
