..Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in detention order passed in Memo No.B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V.No.39/2021 dated 26.03.2021 on the file of the second respondent herein and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu i.e, the body of Vijayakumar @ Vijay, S/o.Ravi, male, aged about 27 years, the detenu, detained under Act 14 of 1982 in detention order Memo No.B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V.No.39/2021 dated 26.03.2021 herein now confined in the Central Prison II, Puzhal, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V.No.39/2021 dated 26.03.2021 detaining her husband as "Bootlegger", as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.2569, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 09.06.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
