Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the second respondent herein in D.O.No.C2/13/2021 dated 16.04.2021 and quash the same and produce the detenu Hari @ Arivazhagan s/o.Ramalingam, aged about 45 years, TPDA No.3663 of 2021, now detained at Central Prison, Cuddalore, Cuddalore District, before this Court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by R.N.MANJULA, J] The petitioner is the wife of the detenu viz., Hari @ Arivazhagan s/o.Ramalingam, aged about 45 years. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his order in D.O.No.C2/13/2021 dated 16.04.2021, holding him to be a "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in D.O.No.C2/13/2021 dated 16.04.2021, on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.2641, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 14.06.2021 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
