This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police, not to harass the petitioner in crime No.Not known of 2015, on the file of the Inspector of Police, E-3, Teynampet Police Station, Teynampet, Chennai.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. On a complaint given by one Allaudhin against the brother of the petitioner, the police had gone to the house of the petitioner in search of his brother.

4.Under these circumstances, no blanket order of not to harass the petitioner can be passed. The petitioner is directed to cooperate for the enquiry. During the course of enquiry, he should not be harassed. If any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest. With the observations, the criminal original petition is closed.
