ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by Mr.R.Bangaru seeking a mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the pending appeal filed on 3.5.2014, as against the order dated 28.2.2014 passed by the Assistant Manager (Law-2) imposing the punishment of stoppage of increment for two years with cumulative effect.

2. Mr.P.Kannan Kumar, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

3. The petitioner, who is serving as a Mechanic-cum-Driver in the respondent-Corporation, is reaching the age of superannuation on 31.7.2015. However, before his date of retirement, he wants to prove that he is innocent. Therefore, he has come to this Court seeking a direction to dispose of his appeal dated 3.5.2014. This Court, considering the fact that the petitioner, on reaching the age of superannuation, is going to retire from service on 31.7.2015, hereby directs the respondent to consider the pending appeal on merits and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
