This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 597 days delay in filing the appeal against the judgment and sentence passed by the learned Special Court (POCSO Cases), Tiruvannamalai, Tiruvannamalai District in Spl.S.C.No.37 of 2019 dated 30.05.2023.

2. This Court is convinced with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to number the above Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the same in usual course.
