2. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition to consider his representation for change of classification of the land in the name of Town Panchayat so as to utilise the same for the purpose of the public of the town panchayat. In this regard, a representation submitted by the petitioner is pending.

3. Accordingly, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
