[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] The present Contempt Petition has been filed by petitioner alleging noncompliance of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.10094 of 2016 dated 09.11.2016, wherein this Court directed respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner seeking employment to the petitioner's son viz., V.Devarajan as per the rehabilitation scheme formulated by the respondents for the land acquisition of Mettur Thermal Power Project.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for first respondent and learned counsel appearing for respondents 2 to 4.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents submits that the order of this Court, which is in contempt, has been complied with and the petitioner's representation was considered and rejected.

Since the order of this Court, which is in contempt, has been complied with, nothing survives for adjudication in the present Contempt Petition. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed. If the petitioner has any grievance, he is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
