PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience of this Court order dated 12.07.2017 in W.P.No.17695 of 2017, 22.09.2017 in W.P.Nos.25526 to 25529 of 2017 and 13.09.2017 in W.P.No.24495 of 2017. For Petitioner : Mr.K.Harikrishnan in all Cont.Ps For Respondents : Mr.Rajani Ramadoss in all Cont.Ps

O R D E R

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent made a submission that the orders passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.17695, 24495, 25526 to 25529 of 2017 dated 12.07.2017, 22.09.2017, 13.09.2017 have been complied with.

2. This Court passed orders directing the respondent Corporation to consider the representations submitted by the writ petitioners and pass orders on merits. Pursuant to the directions of this Court, the respondent passed orders settling the terminal benefits due to the writ petitioners. However, the learned counsel for the contempt petitioners state that the calculation made is not proper. In this regard, the contempt petitioners are at liberty to approach the competent authority, if there is any mistake or error in 2/3

the calculation.

3. As far as the Contempt Petitions are concerned, the orders passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.17695, 24495, 25526 to 25529 of 2017 dated 12.07.2017, 22.09.2017, 13.09.2017 have been complied with. Therefore, no further adjudication is required in respect of the grounds raised in the present contempt petitions.

4. Accordingly, the contempt petitions stand closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
