PRAYER: The Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent to speed up the investigation and file final report within a time stipulated by this Court in Crime No.204 of 2022 dated 08.03.2022 on the file of the respondent.

O R D E R
The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to speed up the investigation and file final report within a time stipulated by this Court in Crime No.204 of 2022 dated 08.03.2022 on the file of the respondent.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that investigation in Crime No.204 of 2022 for the offence under Section 379 of IPC, has been completed and the final report is made ready. He would submit that the final report will be filed before the jurisdictional Court within a period of four months.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (crl. side), direction is issued to the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.204 of 2022 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
