O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the second respondent to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner dated 03.07.2017 for revoking the order of suspension issued against him in proceedings dated 18.08.2016.

2.The writ petitioner was holding the post of Bill Collector in the office of the third respondent. On account of certain allegations of demand of bribe, the Department of Vigilance and Anticorruption,Salem, registered a criminal complaint in F.I.R.No.6/AC/2016 on 11.08.2016. he filed an application to the respondent to revoke the order of suspension and the same is pending.

3. Thus, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner in order to revoke the order of suspension and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
