Respondents Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to approve the appointment of the petitioner as Headmistress in the 3rd respondent school, by considering the proposal submitted by the 3rd respondent school, on 24.05.2017 and 08.06.2017 and confer all the consequential benefits to the petitioner.

The relief sought for in this writ petition is seeking approval of the appointment issued in favour of the writ petitioner.

2. The writ petitioner initially appointed as B.T.Assistant and now working as Headmistress in the third respondent's Higher Secondary School. In this regard, the management of the school submitted a proposal to the second respondent on 08.06.2017, seeking approval of the appointment of the writ petitioner.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that, in view of the delay in considering the appeal, the writ petitioner is unable to get her service benefits in accordance with the rules, including her salary.

4. In this view of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the proposal submitted by the management on 08.06.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition, stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. However, there is no order as to costs.
