Crl.OP.No.21097 of 2018 M.DHANDAPANI.,J This petition has been listed before this Court under the caption for extension of time'' along with the report sent by the learned Special Judge, Special Court for Trial Cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, Salem, vide D.No.519/2022/MC, dated 01.11.2022.

2. It is seen from records that while disposing of the petition in Crl.OP.No.21097 of 2018, this Court, vide its order dated 18.09.2018, directed the learned Judge to complete the trial proceedings in SCC.No.2 of 2019 within a period of eight months. On the earlier occasion i.e. On 10.06.2022, the learned Judge sought time for three months for completing the trial proceedings and the same was granted.

3. Now, the learned Special Judge, has sent another communication dated 01.11.2022 seeking further period of three months time to complete the trial in the said case.

4. Considering the above said facts, this Court grants three months time to complete the trial in SCC. No.2 of 2019 on the file of the learned Special Judge, Special Court for trial Cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, Salem from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
