The writ petition is filed for a direction to the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2023.

2. Admittedly, the third respondent is a co-operative society and the petitioner is an employee of the co-operative society and in that view of the matter, the third respondent cannot be deemed to be a local or other authority of the State in the light of the dictum laid down by the Full Bench of Five Judges of this Court in K.Marappan -vs- Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies [(2006) 4 CTC 689]

3. In view thereof, this writ petition is dismissed, however, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate authority under the Puducherry Co-operative Societies Act, 1972. No costs.
