O R D E R

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to investigate against the said Eretti Elumalai Alias Elumalai and the said impersonated Kamalam and to file the final report in Crime No.141 of 2011.

2. The only grievance of the petitioner is that the the investigation is pending in this case from 2011 onwards. Based on the complaint given by one Kamalam, the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.141 of 2011 for the offences under sections 120(b), 419, 465, 468 and 471 of IPC. But four years have lapsed, still investigation has not been completed. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.141 of 2011 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
