ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide the single phase electricity service connection to the petitioner house by obtaining an indemnity bond as per the T.Nadu Electricity Rules and Manual.

Mr.D.B.R.Prabhu, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the third respondent. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing for either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner and her husband is in possession and occupation of house site in S.No.122/4H of an extent of 0.1.0 ares situated in Kurumbai Village, Thiruthuraipoondi 2/6

Taluk, Tiruvarur District. Seeking to provide single phase electricity service connection to the petitioner's house she made a representation dated 11.05.2022 before the respondents 1 and 2. However, the same was not considered. Hence, the petitioner has filed the above writ petition for appropriate directions.

4. Though very many grounds have been raised in the present writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, it this Court issues a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.05.2022 and pass appropriate orders, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

4. On the above contentions heard learned counsel appearing for respective respondents and perused the materials placed before this Court.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.05.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance, upon satisfaction of 3/6

the title owned by the petitioner and her husband and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the aggrieved persons if any, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
