O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the official respondents, particularly, the second respondent, to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 30.05.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the fifth respondent and to issue patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Ms.B.Prabhavathy, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 30.05.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law 2/4

after affording opportunity to the fifth respondent and final orders shall be passed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
