2.V.Subramani ..Respondents This came up for settlement before the National Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. The learned counsel for the appellant Mr.M.Chidambaram and learned counsel for the first respondent, Mr.J.Ramesh, and learned counsel for the second respondent, Mr.P.Ganesh Murthy are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT It is agreed that to settle the dispute amicably. The employee will report the duty within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No work and no pay. There shall be however, no back wages from the date of dismissal till the date of the employee joining duty. The petition undertake to positively all on the employee to join duty w.e.f. 25.03.2019.

2.This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. The Management, Metropolitan Transport Corporation (Chennai) Limited, Pallavan Illam, Anna Salai, Chennai 600 002.
