... Respondents This case came up for settlement before the National Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. The learned counsel for the Appellant Ms.Ramya V. Rao and Mrs.R.Sreevidhya, the learned counsel for the second respondent are present. No appearance for the first respondent. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT Both the parties and their respective counsel are present.

2. Though the amount awarded was not deposited before the trial Court, an appeal was preferred by the claimant for enhancement.

3. It is agreed between the appellant and the second respondent that a sum of Rs.9,75,000/- (Nine lakhs seventy five thousand only) will be paid to the appellant as full and final quit, the Insurance company shall deposit the entire amount within a period of six (6) weeks from today. On such deposit, the claimant shall be entitled to withdraw the entire amount.

4. The Tribunal is directed to follow the usual mode of payment on proper identification of the party concerned in accordance with the terms of the award without insisting on any formal permission petition. The Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is closed accordingly.
