PRAYER: These Criminal Original Petitions are filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent police to register a FIR on the complaint of the petitioner dated 03.07.2021 in accordance with law and file the final report within a stipulated time.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 03.07.2021, enquiry has been conducted. After the enquiry, the complaint was closed by the second respondent on 27.12.2021 as civil in nature.

3. At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not received the closure report.

4. In view of the above, direction is issued to the second respondent to furnish the copy of the closure report to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such receipt, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the closure report by way of filing protest petition in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, these Criminal Original Petitions stand disposed of.
