ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to investigate the complaint dated 25.05.2016 given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that earlier Subhash Chandra Batra, the father of this petitioner had given a complaint dated 04.03.2016 and followed it up by filing Crl.OP.No.15038 of 2016 for a direction to the Inspector of Police, F2, Chintadripet Police Station, Chennai, to register an FIR on his complaint dated 04.03.2016.

4. On 18.07.2016, this Court passed the following order in Crl.OP.No.15038 of 2016 :

" 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint dated 04.03.2016, given by the petitioner, petition enquiry was conducted by the respondent and the same was closed on 22.03.2016. A copy of the closure report is furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law."

5. Now, this petitioner has given another complaint dated 25.05.2016, based on which petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.224 of 2016.

6. Under such circumstances, the respondent Police is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR.No.224 of 2016 and take action in accordance with law or close the complaint under due intimation to the petitioner.
