ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to dispose of the representation dated 09.12.2014 and refund a sum of Rs.37,180/- allegedly recovered from the petitioner, with interest.

2. According to the petitioner, on attainment the age of superannuation, he retired from service on 31.03.1996, as Selection Grade Assistant. Subsequently, he received terminal benefits and is drawing pension. While so, the respondent directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.37,180/- and accordingly, he deposited the said sum through receipt No.3/153847 dated 24.07.2008. Thereafter, the petitioner sent a representation dated 09.12.2014 to the respondent requesting to refund the said sum of Rs.37,180/- which was wrongly calculated and directed to be deposited by him. Finding no response on the same, he has come up with this writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed before this Court.

4. Considering the limited relief sought herein, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 09.12.2014 submitted by the petitioner, if not already considered, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
