ORDER

The writ petition is for a mandamus to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 31.08.2021, made to the second respondent for the issuance of a revised certificate of registration for the magazine "Puthiya Thamizhan" in the name of the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that when the application was made, certain discrepancies were pointed out and the petitioner has already complied with the discrepancies. In spite of this, the matter kept pending.

When the matter came up for admission, the learned Deputy Solicitor General of India appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that, after further scrutiny, there are five items need to be complied with by the petitioner and accordingly, a communication dated 08.06.2022 was issued, which has yet to be complied with.

4. Upon perusal thereof, it is seen that the first item, namely the Ownership Transfer Affidavit, has already been complied with by the petitioner. Regarding the other four items, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that they already have the declaration in Form I and the other things can also be made ready and submitted by the petitioner.

5. In view thereof, this writ petition is disposed of on the following terms:- (i) The petitioner shall enclose the additional/particulars and forms required by the communication dated 08.06.2022, along with a copy of this order and submit the same within two weeks from the date of receipt of the web copy of this order without waiting for the certified copy of this Order. (ii) Upon receipt of the said forms, further orders shall be passed by the second respondent within three weeks thereafter. No costs. 21.03.2025 nsl 3/5
