ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the application given by the petitioner and to provide electricity connection to the shop of the petitioner.
2.The case of the petitioner is that he is running a shop dealing with sale and service of mobile phones. The further case of the petitioner is that the shop is being run from the year 1990 onwards. The petitioner had applied for new electricity connection before the 2nd respondent and according to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the petitioner an inspection was also made by the officials of the electricity department. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date the electricity connection has not been given and the petitioner has already submitted a representation on 04.05.2020 in this regard.
3.Heard Mr.C.V.Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Damodaran, learned Standing counsel appearing on behalf of the the respondents.
4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 04.05.2020 and take a decision strictly in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 2nd respondent along with a copy of this order.
This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
