PRAYER: The Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.83 of 2019 within a time frame directed by this Court.

O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.83 of 2019 within a time frame directed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that investigation in Crime No.83 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 506(ii), 438 of IPC and Section 4 of TN Public Property (Prevention of Damage & Loss) Act, 1992, has been completed and the final report is made ready. He would submit that the final report will be filed before the jurisdictional Court within a period of three months.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (crl. side), direction is issued to the

second respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.83 of 2019 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
