..Respondent(s) PRAYER - This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to cancel the patta in Patta No.1789 in favour of respondents 5 to 9 herein and consequently restore the Patta in Patta No.67 in favour of the petitioners herein by considering the petitioners representation dated 17.12.2025.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for limited relief. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of their appeal pending on the file of the 4th respondent with regard to the request of the petitioners for cancellation of Patta No.1789 issued in favour of the respondents 5 to 9 and consequently, restore Patta No.67 in favour of the petitioners. Since the appeal dated 17.12.2025 has not been disposed of till date, the petitioners have filed this Writ Petition. 2.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4.

3.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if a direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to dispose of the petitioners' appeal within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, after hearing the objections of the private respondents viz., respondents 5 to 9 and by adhering to the principles of natural justice. Since no adverse orders are passed as against the private respondents viz., respondents 5 to 9, notice to the respondents 5 to 9 is dispensed with by this Court in this Writ Petition.

4.For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' appeal dated 17.12.2025, seeking for cancellation of Patta No.1789 standing in the name of the respondents 5 to 9 and consequently, restore Patta No.67 in the name of the petitioners, after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 to 9 and any other third party whom the 3rd respondent deem fit to enquire and by adhering to the Principles of natural justice, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
